Jarvis Brookfield is a visionary artist based in the UK who delves into the profound realms of the human experience through his imaginal paintings. Rooted in a rich tapestry of inspiration drawn from the internal landscapes of the human mind, he reflects upon the terrain of visionary experiences, dreams, and altered states of consciousness as a guide for his artistic expression. In the alchemy of his creative process, Brookfield blends traditional and expressive painting techniques resulting in a practice of artworks that pulsate with life, vibrant hues, and semi-abstract imagery exuding dynamism and vitality.

Brookfield’s paintings transcend the conventional boundaries of artistic exploration, serving as portals into the limitless expanses of the imagination. His artistic quest extends beyond the concerns of worldly affairs, as he seeks to tap into the wellspring of the divine that underlies creation. As such, each work extends an invitation for viewers to explore their internal worlds, contemplate the meaning of existence, and reconnect with the profound and universal mysteries that reside within the depths of us all.

Born of mixed African and British heritage, in Croydon, England in 1992, Jarvis Brookfield is an artist who spent his formative years in Derby and studied Fine Art at De Montfort University in Leicester. In 2021, he was awarded the People's Choice Prize as part of the Robert Walters UK New Artist of the Year Award, where a collection of his paintings were exhibited at Saatchi Gallery in London.
